Have you been to any Wigan matches this season?

I only ever played in goal or defence. I wasn't good enough controlling the ball, or fast enough to play up front.

Still I have some fun memories from my goalkeeping times. I won't bore you with them but I still remember a couple of the incidents.

I remember this one game when I came right out to the edge of the penalty box and blocked with my hands a powerful shot from a player on the other team.
So I was feeling really confident in my shot-stopping. But then as I looked forwards to see where the ball went it wasn't there, so I turned around and there was the ball which had gone high into the air and was heading in the general direction of the goal.

Now I'm not the fastest runner, but obviously I've got to back and make sure it doesn't go in.
I couldn't make it though. The ball finally comes down inside the six yard box and bounced once and into the net.
I was so pissed. I thought I'd made a great stop, but nah, it still ended up in the net.

Nah, they felt sad for me at the time, but I'm sure they ribbed me a bit after the game.

But the thing was everyone had stopped, because the ball could have gone anywhere, but no it ended in the net.

Both Manchester games, United and City. I'd have gone to watch them at Bolton today as it's not that far away but not paying £35 ($70) to watch them play Hoof Wanderers.

Hopefully if everything goes to expectations, and costs are within my budget, The Totally Raderick Super Dooper Power Ranger European Tour with Dingos and Adult Entertainers will take place in October/November 2007, barring the party pooper terrorists don't blow up the continent.

Strange though it my sound it's actually cheaper to go watch games in Europe than it is in England even though I live in England, with cheap tickets in places like the former eastern block countries and cheap airlines and with tickets being expensive here, you can go watch games in Russia, Ukraine and so on for just the same price (not counting a room if you stay).

Keep away from London, no direspect to people living in London but you'd blow your budget there, although there is a cheap B&B where I've been a couple times but if your going watching any games it costs a small fortune to get in some of the grounds.

Are all the tickets the same price? In America there are a range of prices with the worst seats being very affordable. But $70 for a rivalry match might be worth it unless its on TV.
