Being from the Great State of Connecticut, I simply assume that you are far too shrewd for me to dare trade with.

Those picks happened faster than I imagined they would.

With the second pick of round two The Unstable will select

FW (9)Danny "little Red" Lopez 0-0-0 (0)

Bear

He was the other #9 I was considering originally instead of Pipino.

The Nobodies are on the clock.

Looks like you finally get to make a selection on your own in the draft umk.
Post away when ready.

It happened to me too. Chocolate was my first wish, followed by Curry. When they went I went to the #9 rated guy I nearly drafted initially instead of Cuevas. There's a guy named McGovern I want to see Lopez fight. Should be a total war when those two meet.

I really wanted to take him w/ the 10th pick, but decided that since both of my MW's scored points well in Season 2 - Gomeo Brennan (8) - 30 PTS and Anton Raadik (6) - 24 PTS, I did not think that Mugabi would create enough of a splash to help Tomato City close the gap on the Muckboys. Also, I feel that anytime you have a 4,5,6 rated fighter that can finish with a .500 or better record, he should be held onto.

I've been toying with the idea of compiling and listing data for these "diamond in the rough" fighters (rated 6 and below) who I believe are just as important to a team as a 9+ rated fighter. We all have had mid- to high rated "busts" on our teams and these "diamond in the rough" fighters definitely are necessary when balancing the cap.

I have thought that flyweight Jiro Takada is the best spent 4 points that I have. I think Juuko (3) can be like Takada which is why I made a trade with Bear for him this morning.

I have been messing around a bit with points scored per rating point to value my own fighters.

umk,
The list you sent me did not include any 3rd round choices. If you don't mind, submit me a list for your third round because more than likely it will be Sunday early am for you when your turn comes around again.

yeah, I'm still deciding if I am still gonna pick for the 3rd round since it will put me way over the cap.

I ALMOST picked Mugabi with that last pick - not that I need a MW obviously but I thought he was top 5-6 value picks in the draft. Figured I could trade something if I had to.

I'm hoping I don't regret this one.

With the additions of Piminental, Michalzewski, Magnobi--I have some cap issues. Glencoffe Johnson, McCoy, former HW Champion Heeney are on the block if there is any interest in a former champ.

Don:

You got a better fighter, I doubt you'll regret that. I needed to shave points and Juuko looked like the best value/rating points to fit the bill for me. I'm not as enthused about Letterlough. He may not be in Hebron too long. Unless I am wrong though, Juuko and Takada may become untouchables for me because of the points I hope they earn once they go prime while taking so little cap room.

Bastard, I was hoping to get Lopez with my second round pick. In fact, I was the one who nominated him for the draft he was going to be my first round pick up until Jbergy picked Jesus Pimentel and I started to hope that maybe just maybe Curry would fall to me in the first and I could get Lopez in the second. Oh well, there is still plenty of quailty at FW so I should get one good fighter out of the deal.
