Question Platinum Sombreroes?

Has anyone gotten 5 or more strikeouts from a batter in a game?

The OOTP play-by-play labels a 3 strikeout performance with the hat-trick and a shameful 4 strikeout outing with the Golden Sombrero. Does anyone know what 5+ amounts to?

I recently had an extra-inning game where a batter came up with 4 strikeouts. Since I couldn't locate the "swing aimlessly" option, he decided to pop out and didn't get the chance to bat again.

Just curious...

I had Greg Vaughn strike out 5 times in one game for me...yeah, he really stunk up the place but I wasn't simming play-by-play though.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it.
Can't for the life of me remember what the expression was though.

I've seen it, I don't know what the expression was... it was several seasons ago.

The expression is on the tip of my tongue. I saw it yesterday. It had something to do with eggs...

"He really scrambled the eggs" wait... no that can't be it... "He made an egg omellette with that swing." Nope.... that doesn't sound right... "He chose to take eggs and bacon instead of swinging." Nah... that's unlikely...

I've had it happen as well recently in a league. I'll research and see if I see anything as to what it is called.

Dangit! I keep seeing new posts here, hoping someone has remembered it. I've seen it, but can't remember the term. So people, let's only post here if we actually KNOW THE PHRASE.

...

oops.

3 is the hat trick
4 is the Golden Sombrero
5 is the Platinum Sombrero (I'm 99% sure of this, but I only saw 5 strikeouts occur once when doing pbp).

I'm not sure about over 5 strikeouts though.
