Andrei Kanchelskis is the name that immediately springs to mind, but I'm not 100% certain he scored against Liverpool. I can recall him putting the second past Celtic in the 4-0 a few years back, and obviously he hit the hat-trick against City, but the Liverpool goal(s) escape me at the moment.

I'd suggest Kanchelskis as the player as well.

Bad news in this week's update on the only club that can be promoted to the J. League at the end of this season.

Rosso Kumamoto, of Kumamoto City, Kyushu, who need to finish in the top two of the JFL to be promoted to the J. League (after being the only team to reach all the criteria off the field), could only draw 2-2 at SC Tottori.
Needing a last minute equaliser to just claim one point, Rosso sit in fourth place, three points behind 2nd placed Sagawa Kyubin Tokyo, with just six games to go.
