Exclamation Pickoff at 1B - runner stays at 1B

latest patch

man on 1B - 1 out - 2-1 count

Pitch is a ball (now 3-1), catcher guns to 1B and runner is out (outs increase from 1 to 2 in both PbP and game log). Next, batter hits a HR and 2 runs score.

Not to add anything of value here except to help you make your case:

The pitch was a ball, and the count became 3-1, meaning that batter was still at bat when the runner gets picked off. OK. However, your account goes to the next batter at that point. What happened to the guy at the plate when the pickoff occurred? If he got on base, then you have a 2-run HR.

Am I missing something?

bad punctuation

it should be - Next, batter hits...

Ha! A case of "Eats, Shoots and Leaves" (in reverse) if ever I saw one. Well, I'm happy to have been useful in a small way.

This was logged as TT # 90. Unfortunately, it won't get resolved until the next version, but we'll make sure it gets looked at.

Thanks,

Steve
