Because I'm not a real fan, so it's hard to justify it tbh.

I did have one when Cheltenham Town won the playoff final in May though.

Again, there weren't many of this event either.

They're three from bottom, and after a good start have lost seven of the last eight.
It looks like the only other time they got to this level, they were relegated the very next season back from where they came.

Is there really such a wide gap in talent from L1 to L2?

No, I don't think there is. It's just that Cheltenham haven't got much money to spend on new players.

Is Cheltenham well supported? Have you ever seen them play?

No to both. They only average around 3,700 a game, and the break even was once mentioned at 4,500 a game. So you can see why they haven't got any money to spend on players, indeed manager John Ward has to take a lot of the credit for getting the Robins in League One in the first place. He could only bring in free transfers and loans.

BTW..the 1968 SL Cards were up 3-1 in the WS only to have Detroit come back and win it.

I don't see the Tigers getting back in this series. They just haven't played good baseball - they've had errors, bad fielding, poor hitting. I don't see them winning three straight.

Your analysis is spot on, but who would have thought Detroit would be this bad? If Detroit can pull out tonights game it will be very interesting to see what happens.

theres no harm in expecting the worst and hoping for the best, though you can always try again next season/year.
