Have you tried giving Northwich Victoria a run in FM 2007. IMO they are the weakest side in the demo.
No I haven't. I've only had one game so far (with Burnley), as the quickstarts are quite limiting really (just the one league at a time).

I haven't heard any more for a while on that, but yes, it was alleged in a Five Live report (which I missed).

Ben Thatcher (of Manchester City). I don't think he's played since, even though his suspension is surely over by now.

EDIT - no he still has one match to go on his eight game suspension.

I think you mean the police?

I think it was mainly because Pedro Mendes wouldn't press any charges, and either the police or the Crown Prosecution Service decided it wouldn't be in the public interest to carry on with the case.

If so, its a shocking u=indictment of the CPS. Random violence is a real problem in the UK; especially related to football. They had a chance to send a clear message that this sort of sensless, unnecessary violence wont be tolerated. Justice. Beaten up again.

That place is from the 13th Century and haunted. It might be fun to go there Halloween and try to contact the incubus that lives in the attic.

I don't watch it, so I wouldn't know about it.

But allegedly, as you said, it is haunted.

As I said before, enough people must watch it to keep it being made. Now whether that is because they believe it or just to get some laughs is open to debate.

That's slightly above the average of 77 for today.

Here, we had one of those rather odd days where the temperature was higher at daybreak than during the rest of the day because we had strong winds out of the southeast overnight.

Love that article you posted. Wouldnt it be fun for the laughs to go there and see if anything happens?

The weather is strange here because of the Santa Ana conditions. In the valleya and passes the gusts must be severe. And its hard on the allergies.

My brother has been reading on electromagnetic fields. And so he bought these Q-link pendants, which are (for reals) a black plastic pendant with a small copper circle that's supposed to protect you from these all-pervading forces. Three of them, $150 each, for himself, his wife, and his kid. He makes his son wear it to school every day. He spent $150 for a penny embedded in plastic to protect himself from the mind control rays.

Not for me. I'd be too scared to go there.

It's been an interesting weather year tbh (seems to always be nowadays ).
Here in the UK we had a cold start to the year (first four months) followed by above average temperatures, including record highs in June and July.
Whereas in the USA you had that heatwave at the same sort of time as us, but an average hurricane season, and (from a distance it seems) normality either side. Correct me if I'm wrong.
