Scouted Players in other countries signed by other clubs

Post 12660 patch (1.02)

I have 2 scouts always searching Australia and Costa Rica. When ever they find a prospect, I get a email and when I look at the player - he is always signed to a MLB club. The date of the signing is the same date he was discovered by my scout. 7 prospects found so far (1 season)

Well, at least the AI is signing hidden players now.

Are you still seeing this issue in 12262? I haven't been able to replicate the issue. Can you provide a little more detail around the setup of this league? Are you a major league manager? In the same league where the players keep getting snapped up?

My scout found a player from Australia with promise.

I offered the player a minor league contract, and I got an e-mail he accepted.

For some reason, he got assigned to another team's minor league system.

Have you seen any instances of this happening since patch 1.0.3 went live, stengals or Church?

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
