Edited Name files not used in player generation?

I am not seeing any of my added player names in the first 4 batches of players generated for the First year player draft. I saw a couple on the initial player creation, but none since. What gives? Is there something wrong here?

Not sure Silvam, but I believe reading somewhere that the game doesn't use edited .txt files( names, cities, nations, injuries, etc.) after the initial creation. I don't know what it uses, unless it creates a .dat file and works from that in subsequent player creations.

The game won't use a name file edited after the universe was created. However, if you edited it before you created the universe and saw some of the names in the initial batch of players, you should still be seeing them created later on, too.

This is my problem. I edited it before I created the league or the template for that matter, and I'm not seeing any of my new names showing up 4 drafts in. Maybe I'm not patient enough, but I just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this

How many names did you add, to which language did you add them, what frequencies did you give them, and how large are your draft classes?

We have a rule that states that Tech Support threads wherein we have not received a response within 7 days will be closed.
