Wrong Date auto-play until...bug

Patch 1.0.2, Build 12262.

I wanted to quick-sim to the announcement of All-star roster date.
Then I noticed this bug. The year is 2008 yet it shows 2009 on some events!

I held the ESC button to get out of the auto-play and capture a screenie.

Does it have to do with previous bug-fixing?
(For example, the whole league resetting back to the end of 2007 after crashing in April 2008, after applying the 2nd 1.0.2 WIP patch)

Dunno if you guys can recreate this bug, but the screenshot is an evidence of a bug!

So did you reset the league OR have an issue where it was reset? That's what it sounds like you are saying but want to be certain.

Hmm..long story.

Two WIP patches ago, I was playing an existing league. I applied the patch, loaded the game at game date December 2007, where I saved and quitted last time. I made roster moves, signed FAs, then moved on to next year. Quick-simmed all spring games, managed 2 season games. On the 3rd game I managed, the program crashed and I reported.

After applying the last WIP patch, I loaded the game only to find out my game date was taken all the way back to December 2007. I'd have thought that the game was not saved, yet some transaction logs were written already, resulting in me signing some players again and the log showed it. (See screenshot below) No matter, I kept playing, cuz I don't sim 1 year or 10 years at a time, I try to micro-manage my team. I'm just wondering if the bug reported above has something to do with the crash.

To clarify, I've never restarted any league.

Do I keep playing? Or do I wait for a fix?
I don't want my season to get screwed...

And I'm suspecting this problem has something related to mine...(See my screenshot for the allstar game date)

I'm very sorry it's taken us so long to get back here. Obviously, since you posted, quite some time has gone by, and the final patch was released.

So of course, my first question has to be, "Have you seen this issue as well with the most recent patch?"

We've staffed up a bit. Please let us know where this stands, and we'll do our best to help you out...

I can't help testing this issue anymore.
I have deleted the savegame in frustration and started over.
