So, if Scot wants to be one of the new owners:

1) Where would the conflicts be?

and

2) How should they be resolved?

To me, waiver wire and draft picks can't be played with. If he took a fighter that someone above him claimed, the other owner would notice right away.

Any thoughts?

If we added four more teams and trying to keep the amount of team matches at ten, I was thinking of doing what Mike said by having 5 against the other division and 4 inside your own division with one intra-conference match. With the intra-conference match, this will give a chance for an individual champions belt to be swapped between conferences. The way it is now, once a title has landed in one of the conferences, the only way to get it out of that conference will be in the year-end tourny.

Thanks, I feel good about my chances but I'm not taking anything for granted until I make it in for sure.

Conn Chris: I don't think there would be any problems if SAL took a team but there's already five owners who want to join but if one can't join and SAL doesn't mind the extra bit of work I won't have any problems with him being an owner.

Sounds good and prevents teams having off weeks. I also have no problem with you taking over a team. I can't see any kind of conflict.

So what happens if I win over the Crusaders by 2 points?

I like that setup espically the return of intra-conference matches. Also, the teams that get an intra-conference match against an expansion team are going to be some lucky bastards with three match against walking punching bags.

But if you had five divisions of four teams, then that would increase the chances of titles changing hands, as teams from every division would be fighting each other. But I guess 14 rounds is a pretty long season. Just suggesting it, though.

You know, Mike and Chris bring up good points it's probably a good idea to set up some tiebreakers now so should when ties do happen everyone has a clue as to what will go down.

The tiebreaker should be the total points scored in the matchups between the tied teams.

That could work for divisional ties but what if me and Icetea remain tied at the end of season who should get the top seed. I was thinking of maybe Overall Record then yours then divisional record or something.

Do the two divison winners from each conference play each other to determine the "Conference Champion" in the first playoff round? Or are the playoffs 'league-wide"?

If they are league wide, it makes me wonder what the purpose of having the conferences is, as there would not be an official Conference Champion.

Jeez, can you believe that going into our 5th round matchup the Gatitos were a +30 with a 4-0 record. They've just competely fallen apart since then, it might be a good thing if SAL disbands the team it'll be a mercy killing at this point.
