Turnovers kill.
Especially turnovers that turn into defensive TD's. |

Sometimes it's better to be lucky rather than good. The Bears stripped the ball from Edgerrin James, who rarely fumbles. Then to end the game, the Arizona kicker missed a FG that he probably makes 9 out of 10 times.

Denny Green needs to get off the Edgerin James bus. 36 rushes against the Bears???? c'mon. Where were the screen passes or short passes to James over the middle - those are better than rushes against a team like Chicago.
I watched the game at a bar/restaurant in Chicago and the whole 4th quarter was dizzying - there were at least 3 times when people were getting up to leave and had to rush back in through the doors back to their tables after something happened. |

I don't think that was a bad plan. The bears offense was spewing up the ball everytime they touched it. Running, wasting time and giving the ball to the bears offense wasn't that bad of a plan that game. They did turn the ball over 6 times.

There's no saying that they win with the FG. They likely would have, but it's not unreasonable to think a solid run back, 30-40 quick yards and the perfect-for-the-season kicker makes a game winner.

Urlacher's stripping the ball from James wasn't luck, but a combination of sheer strength and will. I guess "Uberlacher" just wanted to win more. |

I still want to know why the MNF producers thought we wanted to see the new Jay-Z video

Actually,it could be argued that James foward progress was stopped on that play,so imo it was a little on the lucky side, not to down play Urlachers play by no means, hes a total animal.
