I don't have linkage for this yet but someone said that Ken Macha said Rich Harden is the Game 3 starter.
This is the move I was hoping they'd make, because it's a Game 7 move more than it is a Game 3 move. Harden would start Game 7, and Dan Haren, who will pitch Game 4, would be available for relief work on short rest should Harden need to be pulled early. It wouldn't have worked the other way around because of Harden's health issues. |

Yeah, that was reported earlier. Loaiza in Game 2.
I'm going to go A's in 6 here. '73 Series rematch coming. GH |

Baseball season is over. I just watched Sportcenter and its pretty obvious. Now what will the Yankees have to do to improve next season?

Well, if they were "good" then they'd be the "Yankees" and they'd still be "playing."
So now that the "good" team is done, the rest must be "magic" and "heart".

Oh stop...playoff ads are like this each year, every year. It's stupid, but it's advertising. You can never just describe the product.
I can't stand the Yankees, but this complaint is just way, way off base. GH Last edited by GForce; 10-10-2006 at 08:25 PM. |

Off for a night of fun!
Robertson is worrisome and I am doubtful that Rogers and Bonderman can be that good again but I have faith in the pen up to the moment Jones is called upon. Should be some nail-biting fun! It will have been a fun and unexpected year with or without a WS appearance and the future looks to be brighter sooner. Go Tigers!

Kotsay starting in place of Kielty against the lefty again. Why is Macha changing what worked during the season? |

You would know if I jumped all over something, believe me (Heck, TC would've already lectured me by now). Have a beer and chill out a bit. GH Last edited by GForce; 10-10-2006 at 09:18 PM. |

Because it's the playoffs and defense is magnified. I agree with the move.

Edit: I DO hate Steve Lyons and any dope who says the A's "wait for the 3-run homer." Such cluelessness from people who get paid to talk is embarassing. Last edited by JDOldSchool; 10-10-2006 at 09:38 PM. |

Holy crap, can we please get Lou Pinella out of the booth? I would much rather have Morgan in the booth.
