Great inning for Rincon... 9-1-2 up for the Twins. Just need to keep chipping away with the bullpen (i assume) coming on for Oakland.

I have yet to see a good angle on the Hunter play, but just based on his reaction, I have to say that he was safe on that one.

So much for the Pirahnas... it goes without saying Twins need to throw another scoreless inning... their best shot will be in the 8th with the heart of the order due up.

What shocked me was that Hunter didn't make a left turn and hit Kendall in the face with a forearm. I wonder why he deviated from his routine.

Does playing in an independent league make you not retired? Serious question. I don't know if he played this year, but I know he was playing professionally still trying to get back to the majors one last time.

This is where I hate managers bullpen use... Twins can't let the As score here, but I bet they'll go with Jesse Crain instead of Joe Nathan, the Twins best reliever, just because Nathan's the closer. They should be bringing in their best because they may not get a chance to later in the game.
