Agreed, though starting a West Coast team's game at 10 AM Pacific is also kinda ridiculous.

Yep. ESPN.com had a poll a few days ago asking which series people were most interested in. A's/Twins and Dodgers/Mets were very close, but Yankees/Tigers was the overwhelming favorite. Cards/Padres was lagging.

Reminds me of the A's in 2000 (I think - it was one of the Yankees ALDS). They were something like 2-for-28 with RISP in the whole series.

I'm extremely surprised at how much of a non-factor Joe Mauer has been so far in this series.

When did they do that? (What I am asking... is did they do that while the team was playing in that time zone? I do understand that they did that this week, but the game started at 1pm or 12pm local time... which sucked for the West Coast fans)

Yeah, that's what I meant. The game started at noon local time, but 10 AM for A's fans who are on the West Coast. That can't be too good for ratings, either.

Well we should see Kiko to start the 7th. I'd hope Macha would be that smart. He's done well with bullpen management so far this series.
