Receptionist: I'm sorry, Mr. Rodriguez, but your regular therapist is out today, so you'll have to brief the new one. You can go in.

A-Rod: Uh ... OK.

Therapist: Hello, Alex. What's on your mind today?

A-Rod: Well, see, doc, there's this guy at work ...

Therapist: Yes?

A-Rod: Well, it just seems like everyone likes him better. He can't do a darned thing wrong. And I can't do a thing right, according to everyone.

Therapist: Are you sure that's not all in your head, Alex?

A-Rod: No, it's in the headlines.

Therapist: Headlines?

A-Rod: Yes, doc, I'm in the headlines all the time in the newspapers. People seem to have a problem with me because I'm a great-looking man, work harder than everyone else, make more money, I'm more talented than other people and ...

Therapist: Do they also have a problem with your humility?

A-Rod: No. But I think the fact I'm bi-racial may have something to do with it.

Therapist: Bi-racial? What ethnicity are your parents?

A-Rod: Dominican.

Therapist: Both of them?

A-Rod: Yes.

Therapist: Then how ... never mind. So, this person at work ...

A-Rod: Yeah, like last night, for instance. I thought things were turning around. People actually seemed happy to see me when I reported to work. Everyone was smiling. Cheering, even! Then I smacked a line drive to second base and ... the guy robbed me. But I was finally feeling OK with myself. But it's never enough! He's always there. Always doing better! I get one hit, he gets five. My line drives are caught, his aren't. It's just unfair. Everywhere I go, people are all over him. It's always "Derek, this" and "Derek, that."

Therapist: Now, now, you can't compare yourself to him ... that's not healthy or productive. And I'm sure you're overstating all this. What did you say this fella's name was again?

A-Rod: Derek Jeter.

Therapist: Derek JETER!?!?!? You know him? Really? Can you get me his autograph?

This is quite sick. Making fun of someone because they go to a therapist.
