TT 2023 "fix" clarification?

OK, so 1.0.3 fixed this issue. So how does it work? Players who've signed MLC extensions will stay on, or players on the 40 will stay on, or what's going on with that?

Players have to be on the 40 man roster.

- Player is on 40-man and does not sign MLC extension (becomes free agent)
- Player is not on 40-man and signs MLC extension (becomes free agent)
