SION pitcher page bug?
Curious if this is only happening to me.
When I look at the 'SION Player page' for a pitcher, the various league totals do not have separator lines. The batters do. (The Total MLB, Total IL-AAA, etc.) Anyone else notice this, or just my league? Examples. Batter. Pitcher. Under the career stats. Notice the splits (L/R) are shaded on the batter, but not the pitcher. Last edited by Bishop; 09-21-2006 at 08:20 PM. |

No one has looked at a pitcher's career list to be able to say yes or no?

Bishop, per your PM, I looked into this in my game. See the two zipped files below. First, I exported two player reports, a 3B and a SP, to external browser. Next (since I don't have access to a web site to post them), I converted them to Adobe pdf files and zipped them to be able to upload them here.
Note: Adobe makes the one long page of a player report into several pages. Don't let this throw you; the pdf files are a good representation of how these reports looked in game and in IE. Sorry, I see no difference between batter and pitcher in these reports, nor have I noticed any in my game play, either in game or in IE. If you look closely, you will see an obvious clue. Your reports are missing the SION banner at the top. This is an indication to me that the conversion of reports to your external browser is at fault. It reminds me of how IE acts just before a Windows crash; that is, partial loading of screen, things missing, etc. Anyway, sorry I cannot help you any further than that. I hope it clears up for you. Yeah, it does.
If you look closely, yours are exactly the same as mine. I'll post images in a sec. As far as the banners not loading, that's more likely just a case of me not copying that file to the server I hosted the player pages on. Last edited by Bishop; 09-27-2006 at 11:07 PM. |

See here is what I'm talking about.
Here's the batter that you posted.... ![]() Note the black dividing line between 2010 and his "Total MLB". Now here's the pitcher you posted.... ![]() Note the LACK of black dividing line between 2010 and his "Total MLB" as well as "Total GBL". So it's not just occurring on my leagues. |

Interesting. You're saying it's consistently one way for batters and the other way for pitchers? I wonder why . . .

Only thing I can think of is something in the data/templates directory. perhaps the history_players_pitching_reg_by_letter_line.tpl file, since I believe that's the file that works on that area, but I'm not much into things like that to be able to tell for certain. If that wasn't changed, then I guess it's something internally that was changed in one of the patches. Anyways, thanks again for your help with this. Last edited by Bishop; 09-28-2006 at 01:14 PM. |
