Is it necessary to reboot your computer after changes in the config file?

Is it necessary to reboot your computer every time after you change some elements in the configuration file?

Will changes in the config take effect even if you don't reboot?

If you mean the OOTP configuration files, NO. You should not change them while you are in the OOTP game though.

You don't need to reboot your computer, but you do have to restart the game....

Exactly. And since some of the settings are being saved when you close the game, you should

- first close the game
- then edit the settings
- then restart the game
