Maybe Obscure advice

Might not get many responses here but you never know. Family is headed to Tampa in June. Wife wants a beach. My son and I want a Rays game. Haven't been to Tampa in about 20 years. Any suggestions as to hotels, condo's on the beach but close to Trop. Any advice on Tampa appreciated.

My question is why on earth would you want to go to a Rays game? I'd much other stay at the beach and look at the other wives

You know, there is a terrible, terrible misconception that all beaches have good looking people on them. Sure the Travel Channel shows Oahu and Miami Beach and man, who wouldn't camp there. But for the average man, the order of the day is bright white, thick, cellutlite-covered thighs with brusies. I'd rather see a baseball game.

Just pick another beach.

I'm not a beach person. There's too much sand.

You're right, any ball game is better than all of that sand.
