Gary Matthews, Jr. vs. DET today:

4-for-4, 1B, 2B, 3B, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI. And it's only the 6th inning!

That guy is good. Isn't he a free agent after this year?

...has there ever been a no-hitter thrown on the same day that somebody hit for the cycle? Not that it happened yesterday, but it came awfully close.

Quick and dirty projection... I'd probably see him around a 270/340/440 which isn't bad, but he's going to be 33 and declining as well. I bet someone will throw him a 3 year deal at about 7 or 8 mil per. Not worth it.
