2040 Scott Fite Jr -- 41 HR/42 SB
He did it! 40/40!

7 straight seasons of double figures in HR, D, T, and SB!
(yet only a 3 time All Star!?)

Damn looks like the Mets didn't even keep me on the bench as a 44 year old to let me add to my totals so I will retire with my stats listed in the previous thread. 23 seasons is nothing to complain about however and I am amazed I played that long as a position player. Spent the year in A ball and finally retired early with one year left on my contract. Hopefully I negotiated a decent buy-out package.

No dominant seasons, I think only 2 or 3 allstar appearances in fact, but man I played a ton of games which helped me to put up some big numbers in hits and stolen bases especially (4th and 3rd respectively all time). Lets hope I make the Hall which is something I never imagined early in my career.

Okay I had to see this career... 44 YEARS OLD. Wow I've never seen someone last this long... 12795 AT Bats and a .303 average. 3877 hits total. 1116 Stolen Bases. You got a great career there. Way to go

WHOA! I went from A ball in 2039 to AA in 2040 and then STRAIGHT to the bigs!

2040 (AA):
Code:
Name G GS W L S ERA IP HA R ER BB K
S Jeffries 26 26 8 12 0 3.81 172.1 124 80 73 86 251
2041 (Majors):
Code:
Category ERA W L S G GS IP HA R ER BB K
Overall 4.57 7 11 0 32 32 185.0 152 105 94 115 185

My hit and strikeout rates were awesome that first year. If I can get those walk totals out of Ishiiland, I'll be on track. I'm only 25 years old. Next year, I'll win at least a dozen, walk under a hundred, and get that ERA under 4.

It's doing ok. Gen moved the site to a new server which has become notoriously slow, and has replaced Bobby Jones as the General Object of Ridicule.

I'll be spearheading a revival of the OOTP forum on Release Day. I think I'm generally regarded as the OOTP authority around there, so I'll start up a new Dodgers thread right away.

Gen is in Japan as far as I know right now. He's had a lot going on with his grandfather, so he's been out there a great deal lately. Progress on the boards has slowed because of it, but he still manages to get the necessities done.

Is he still on hosting4less? If he is man I feel for him, they are not 4less. they are 4more. And their servers are slow too. He should contact me I can get him something worth while. Some of the members should squeak over here like you did.

I think the longest I have ever seen was a 43 year old pitcher so I was amazed to. Originally I had no dreams of putting up such numbers thinking I would retire around 37 or 38 like most players but I must have conditioned myself well

I have no idea who their server is. I just remember it went down for several days recently as they moved to the new one. I would imagine it is cheaper (hence the slowness) as BBSC is rumored to be in Expos-like financial straits.

Hurry up and sim some more! I wanna see myself win the Cy Young!

2041 brings me a batting title, now if only I could move back to 3b maybe I would get an MVP trophy to go with it. Man New Orleans has the same record just about every year. How about some pitching for us Jordan, give Gforce on my team.

Twins lock me up for 3 years, just when we're about to make our move.

It has been about 15 years since the Twins have had a winning season. This is about to change!

2041 brought me over .400...and Omaha STILL traded me.

John Comey, CLV: .404, 17 HR, 124 RBI

Whoo!
