Deleting Players

I am staring a 1901 sim, this time with Minor Leagues. I import the Lahman database and the ML players are there, but then I start the game and the minors are full of fictional players. Can someone tell me how to delete these fictional players, thanks.

I know how to delete an individual player but I am too interested in knowing how to delete the entire minors filled with fictional players without having to go to each player and deleting them.

As far as I know you can't do this, because in the current system, the minors need to be filled with enough players to fill a team. This is a problem with historical simming, and something that has been requested to be changed in future pathes.

Are you telling me that I HAVE to have fictional minor leaguers? I can't delete them and then have the leagues fill up through the years?

You could choose to use a reserve roster instead of minors. That's your only alternative to having fictional players and minors. There are no ghost players in this version.

Yes, unless they add ghost players, which is one of the major features that people want added.

LOL. Here we go again. This topic has already been well-covered on the forums. I proposed an alternative to ghost players, since supposedly bringing back ghost players will be more difficult than finding a cure for cancer. Unless Markus implements this alternative proposal or miraculously brings back ghost players in time for patch 1.0.3, it looks like we can chalk up a couple of more people to the ranks of the digsruntled and deeply disappointed over this design decision.
