FREE AGENTS / WAIVER REQUESTS:
Throughout the season you may want to improve your roster by adding available free agents and release fighters that are not performing up to your expectations. All fighters in the Draft/Free Agent Pool will be available. Free agent requests must be sent by PM to the commissioner. Requests will be processed on a first-come, first-served using the Waiver process. (see Waivers below) There will be four rounds in succession each week to acquire free agents. There will be a limit of 1 Addition and 1 dropped fighter per per waiver round. When submitting your free agent request by PM, you must state which fighter you want from the Draft/Free Agent Pool and which fighter you will be releasing from your roster. (You may select alternates in your request in the event a fighter that you request is picked up on waivers before your teams turn in the waiver order) During the 4 day waiver process, the team cap of 105 points will be waived. Teams will be allowed to have their cap exceed the 105 limit during this time but the team cap must be at or below the 105 limit by the end of the weekly waiver rounds, Thursday 8 pm CST. No exceptions. Waiver Schedule: (Each round will consist of a 24 hour period) 1st round; Starts every Sunday at 8 pm CST to Monday 8 pm CST. 2nd round; Starts every Monday at 8 pm CST to Tuesday 8 pm CST. 3rd round; Starts every Tuesday at 8 pm CST to Wednesday 8 pm CST. 4th round; Starts every Wednesday at 8 pm CST to Thursday 8 pm CST. WAIVERS: To provide an equal opportunity to all managers to add fighters to their roster from the Draft/Free Agent Pool, a Waiver process is used. Fighters that are requested by PM will be put in a pending status. This allows multiple teams to request the same fighters. The order in which these requests are processed is based on the Waiver Rank of each team. WAIVER RANK: (Will be determined as follows) 1. Lowest point total 2. Second lowest point total 3. Third lowest point total........following this pattern down to the highest scoring team. The waiver ranks will change after each legal claim by a team during the waiver round. Pending transactions are processed in an order determined by each teams waiver rank. A team with a waiver rank of 1, considered the highest, will get its requested selection (fighter) first. After the transaction is executed, the team's waiver rank is then set to 20 (last), and all other teams waiver rank move up one spot in the order. If a teams number one requested fighter becomes invalid because another team received that requested fighter first, the requested fighter is deleted and if the team selected any alternates, the alternate will become that teams number one request. If awarded a waiver selection, it will become effective immediately. All awarded free agents will be announced at the end of every waiver round. Reminder............... The team cap must be at or below the 105 limit by Thursday 8 pm CST. Last edited by SAL; 05-26-2008 at 01:00 AM. |

... can't believe he's still there, and select Cocoa Kid, welterweight 10.
(Wasn't where I planned to go, but I'm flexible!)

Screw the 1 HP, both those cats will pick up quite a few wins. Better to have them then some random bobos who only win 3 fights but gets 3 kos.

Although in the original draft when deciding between two 5 rated fighters or whatever I did usually go with the guy with the highest HP.

Here's where we stand. I've either heard from all the team managers or have seen them online here except for IceTea and umk. I would say that after The Nobodies (umk) pick, the draft should move along swiftly.

I have given Sal two options for my pick so if I am not around he will make the 6th pick for me. I'll be in and out now ... hitting the pool ... then it's steak, beer and wifey night around the mh household.

[QUOTE=bigMatt]I'm getting married in October and our engagement party is this evening, so I won't be around at all tonight. However, I don't pick until the end of the second.
