Schedule editor crashes with big leagues

the schedule editor crashes with big universes - its working fine with the smaller ones though, but since its possible to configure big universes and big leagues, the schedule editor should be able to handle that too.
my configuration (on a 2,2ghz-2processor pc with 1gb ram): 47-league-universe, 1 league with 260 teams in 33 divisions (ncaa-clon) - when I click "edit schedule" in the right button in the league setup-screen, the game crashes to the desktop. ... tested it further, problem is not the big league, but the size of the whole universe - so the crash seems to be memory-related. unfortunately, it doesnt get better with reducing the size of my existing universe (via "edit league structure"), the crash remains (tested this number of teams/divisions with a completely new universe and it worked).

So, to clarify, you're saying that once a super-huge league is created, then you're doomed. But, if you start with a league that's small enough to be manageable (whatever that may be for your system), then you're okay. I suppose the lesson here would be, "Don't cross the unmarked threshold."

yeah, you're right, but its not the super-huge league, its the super-huge universe. lesson is: don't make your universe too big, reducing afterwards is not possible.
