Different at big teams though, some teams if they don't win the league or at least a cup it's looked on as failure because they don't play in an hard league big example being Celtic in Scotland, if they ever finish 3rd it's considered a disaster on the Titanic scale.

That makes sense but it almost seems like clubs are playing musical chairs with coaches. In this instance Man U deserves a lot of credit for sticking with Ferguson.

It'd be nice to see the top of the SPL table finish like this:

1. Hearts
2. Dumferline
3. Kilmanrock
4. Rangers
5. Celtic

Agreed. Where is the fun in football for most Scots fans. I would add the same for the AL East. Its a borefest.

Most Scottish fans follow either Celtic or Rangers so to most it isn't a bore.

The difference in officiating in the EPL and the WC is miles apart. If this Chelsea game had been played under WC guidelines there would have been many cards issued as opposed to none.

Politics, Celtic and Rangers averaged 107394 between them each home game the other 10 teams in the SPL averaged 86700 between them, some Scottish league teams only average 500 a game so wouldn't surprise me if Celtic and Rangers average more fans per home game combined than the entire Scottish Leagues do combined.

Considering Van Nistelrooy is gone with no apparent replacement, still pretty good as they were overflowing with talent anyway. Certainly not Chelsea good, but as usual they should be fighting Liverpool and Arsenal for 2nd. Although watching Arsenal just now struggle mightily with the pride of the Balkans I'm starting to wonder.
