41 Man Roster Error

I got my 40 man roster to 41/40 like so:

Kyle Denny was injured at AA on the 40 man roster. I needed his spot to replace Kerry Wood who got hurt (on my major league squad) so I put Denny on waivers, designated him for assignment and signed a pitcher to replace Wood. Put that guy on the 40 man and promoted him to the majors.

Then I tried to move Denny to Double-A once he cleared waivers but since he was still injured the game says he can only be moved to the DL. So, I right clicked, transaction, disabled list, chose 15-day DL and now I have 41/40 on my roster (see below).
