multitude of problems

I'm using the July 14 Mac update.

The most serious problem (so far) is that players on the DFA list do not have 'Assign to 40 man roster' available as an option. Whenever I try to do anything else with them, it tells me that I can't until I put them on the 40 man roster, so I'm in a Catch-22 situation. (I have seven players under major league contract waiting to be assigned and rapidly running through their ten days.)

A cosmetic problem is my age being listed as 89 when it should be 45. I'm playing the 1962 season and my birth year is listed as 1916, so it's calculating the year based on a 2006 season, but it's calculating all of the other coaches and players correctly.

The last one so far is perhaps a missing feature rather than a glitch. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the years of experience for coaches/scouts. I've raised some of the scouts values and would like to increase their experience to reflect that.

What happens why you try to drag-and-drop a player from the DFA pane to the 40-man roster pane?

Drag and drop works badly, if at all, with this game, so I gave up on it awhile ago. Trying to use drag and drop on the Pitching Rotation and Depth Chart/Lineup pages nearly drove me to drink.

I see I've violated the bug posting regulations by posting a laundry list in one entry rather than starting three threads. I apologize, and if the moderators want me to repost everything after the first paragraph as seperate threads, tell me and I will.

After some frustration, I was able to drag the players in question onto the 40 man roster. Thank you for the suggestion. Not having that option appear in the drop down menu does still constitute a bug, though.

This bug seems to've disappeared in the ***62 patch. At least, it hasn't reared its ugly head so far. I'm holding my breath.

See, I knew if I left you alone long enough, you'd figure it out.

Seriously, though, at this point, do any of the issues you originally noted still exist right now? I don't want to miss them if there are valid bugs out there!

The only remaining problem (out of this list) seems to the inability to edit coaches/scouts' experience, which is a missing feature, not a bug. Since I've brought the same point up in, oh maybe three other threads, you can mark this one closed.
