HAHAHAHA... have you done anything to make the GM mad at you? "Oh yeah? Win with that then!"

Can you provide a copy of the transaction log for that team, or a screenshot of the relevant transactions?

Is it possible that the Rookie playoffs fell right at the same time as major league roster expansion or playoff start? In those cases, the GMs may make some pretty radical moves, and they're not really going to care much about the rookie playoffs.

Still, it sounds a little extreme in your case.

Thanks,

Steve

I can't help but laugh at this.

I would imagine GMs in real life probably would let their rookie teams finish out the "playoffs" before doing anything, but keep in mind the rookie league playoffs are only 1 game for the AZL and at most 4 games for the GCL. (Different in the game, obviously.)

this was in June and July in game, so not sure why the Gm would find in necessary to do these moves during playoffs for rookie ball, or even short A ball league either, cause that is where the players went to

why would a Gm have any intrest in a rookie league ball player for the majors Steve?

and the promotions are only one tier up not like AA to majors, these players were in Rookie league and playoffs started June 8th and by the end of June every rookie player except 3 were in Short A ball, promotions during playoffs should be halted by Computer GM's, except injuries

yes, this fictional rookie league has 2 subleagues with 4 division each with 4 teams in each division

so 8 teams make playoffs

first round was 5 games
then last two rounds were 7 games

some may say ... why rookie league?
thought I would take control of a rookie league team and get promoted all the way to the majors as manager

Is your Short A league just starting?
Maybe it's filling out the Short A roster for the start of that season not realizing Rookie ball is still winding down. In that case, you would need to delay the startup of Short A so the Rookie playoffs are ended... otherwise you could end up with short Short A rosters if the computer doesn't make moves when it begins...

at least that was my hope when I set up my league that way... that the top rookie league players would move up to continue playing this year, without having to go into A ball that's already been going for several months... if the computer is smart enough to do that I don't know.

actually Short A and Rookie play at same times and playoffs at the same time

Short A league team was not in playoffs, actually one of the worst teams in that league

and I do not see a way to alter the starting and ending dates for each minor league

Okay... then I guess I just revert back to that your ML GM just hates your guts...

Actually though, that makes it a huge bug. It shouldn't be promoting players from Rookie to Short A when Rookie is still playing bsaeball and Short A is sitting at their homes watching ML baseball on TV.

Markus has claimed that this issue will be fixed in 1.0.3. However, we have not yet received a test version of 1.0.3 with which to verify.

Thanks very much,

Steve
