The PFBL, 4-year old league entering 18th season, looking for an owner

The PFBL entering its 18th season, is looking for one owner.

The new owner will be taking over the Worcester Worms. The team is currently on a streak of 9 winning seasons, including a World Championship 2 seasons ago. They are beginning to age however, and are probably in need of some maintenance. They still have a great starting rotation, and pitching has always been their mainstay.

I'm looking for an active owner who will submit regular league files, login to the site at least every other day to check things out, and do what they can to keep this team a winner.

Our league is fictional and uses OOTP 6.51a. We've been around since August '02 and are currently entering OOTP year 2018. Our remaining 15 teams are manned by a good core of owners who are very active.

The league features:
- 5 sim days per week. We sim games Monday thru Fridays, 5 games per sim, so there's definitely a lot of baseball happening in this league
- Punctuality you can set your watch by - over the 4 years the league has been in existence, I think we've missed maybe 2 sims (which were promptly made up)
- Catobase
- On-line almanacs - no zip files here!
- Export Trackers
- A very active site forum Link
- Trading of Draft picks
- Offseason Player Coaching to improve skills
- Player Rating/Talent Changes Reports per sim - my own custom form of BOSI's rating updates
- Minor League Stats from last sim reports each sim
- Player Fatigue Reports after each sim
- Games of Yesteryear block on the site - this randomly displays one of over 16,000 games from our past with box scores, player links, and stats
- Coaches/scouts disabled
- One league uses DH, the other does not - the open team will not use the DH

I just joined this league about a week ago, but so far it's been great. All the owners have been more than friendly and it's ran very well. Also, with the use of catobase and some other programs the history of the league has been maintained almost perfectly so after a few seasons you can look back and compare things. A great league and I recommened it for any active GM.

I've been with the PFBL since the first season, four real years ago, and I can attest that this is a great league. We have a great Commish and a solid core of owners. Come give us a look!

Let me just add that you DO NOT need to own the game in order to join our league. It's nice if you have it, but it is not necessary.

I, too, have been with the PFBL since it's inception. This is the tightest league I have ever been associated with. I can, and do, spend hours and hours going over all the great things within the league site. I would encourage any potential owner to take a look around. You will like what you see. Constant chatter, wheeling and dealing, and the league has been balanced from the start. No team has won more than three Championships in the 17 seasons played. Drop in and feel welcomed immediately, as other owners can attest.

Bump - we now have another team open that needs an owner.

The Rocklin Raiders, who were an expansion team 5 years ago and have never done anything, need a firm, patient hand to guide them. They have 2 very good prospects in Charles Stackhouse and Mark Judy.

We are just about to start free agency this Friday, and Rocklin has $66 million to play with. If you're interested in getting this team on track, shoot me an email at pfbl@takeyourbase.com
