1961 Results, 1962 Results, 1963 Results, 1964 Results, 1965 Results,
1966 Results, 1967 Results, 1968 Results, 1969 Results

Lou Boudreau was elected to the RL HOF by the BBWAA in 1970. Earle Combs and Jesse Haines were elected by the VC.

All players who received at least 5% of votes on the last ballot were retained for this ballot. I also added players who became eligible for the ballot in 1970 (retired after 1964 season).

All players not receiving 5% of votes on this ballot will be removed. Also, all players who have been retired for 20 years fall off this ballot if not elected.

Vote for as many or as few as you want. Max votes are 10.

HOF Standard: 50 is considered an average HOF'er. 100 is max.

PLEASE NOTE:
Players who lost service time to the war are denoted with: WWII

Note: OPS+ and ERA+ are listed for all players now. 100 is considered league average. The higher the # the better the player. This lets you see how they did in relation to the players of their generation while also letting you compare their dominance of the league to players from different eras.

All right, come on, this is almost Arsenault's last year. Let's put him in. Just look at the number of doubles he hit! Sure, a lot of 'em came in Fenway, but that wasn't his only strength. 285 HR's is quite respectable; 1451 career RBI is almost automatic-induction territory. Remember this guy wasn't a starter the first six seasons in which he saw action! OPS+ of 135 is above average for current HoFers.

I thought Lex had a better career than that. I loved the guy when he was in there, and 245 wins is nothing to sneeze at. I just thought he had gaudier numbers. Maybe next year.

Herm was a 2B, Vris. But I'm sure he'd get a kick out of being called an outfielder.

Lex was hurt some by his ballpark and the fact that I traded away a gold glove middle infield early in his career. He would've been closer to 300 wins had he not had a CEI in August of 64. I'm sure he would've contributed quite positively to the 1965 title run.
