PbP Bug on grounder to 1B

I just had a batter hit a dribbler towards first. The first baseman came in and decided to take it to first himself. Fortunately, his throw arrived well ahead of the runner. What?!

(I guess Harry's back with his Budweiser in the booth!)

I've attached a screenshot of the PbP (I think).

The problem is in hard-coded text. The starting and ending lines of this sequence are from the XML file (category and object number inserted below), but the middle three lines (prefaced with HC) are from text contained within the game.

Sebastian swinging....
144-7800 trickled off the end of the bat...
HC toward the first baseman...
HC grabs it by the handle...
HC he takes it to the bag himself...
205-9823 and his throw arrives in plenty of time...
Sebastian is retired for the second out...

I will get this into TT.

Thanks. It's not a huge problem, but it messes with the asthetics.

I agree. Logged as TT #2395.

Next time you see an anomaly like this, it'd be good to send along the relevant info from the game log. In this case, we could have verified whether the play was actually U3 or 3-1.

This TT has been addressed by Markus and for this version is not possible at this time. I would ask that you make sure to get the feature request in the forum:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...splay.php?f=16

So it can be added to the list as it is a feature that needs a minor revision for next year. Thanks!
