Right now, my Oakland Athletics have a 33 game winning streak, a budget of 69 Million, and we were perfect in the month of July.

August 10th, 2011 - the streak ends at 36 games. I think we are headed to the playoffs.

so, what did you do? commissioner mode, and edited your players? or trade a no-talent minor leaguer for Albert Pujols and company?

36 in a row is FAR beyond statistical probability for a normal distribution of teams....even a team brilliantly run.

Uh, no, not exactly. I used Lahman's universe (started 2005). I built up my team, and have an excellent team in 2011. I'll post the file if you are actually interested.

regardless of what strings he may or may not have pulled, its still amazing.
