I changed the scouts name, but I did not make a difference.

Is there something I can do to change this?
One thing I have done, is under options (not in the game at the moment, so not sure the exact phrasing), there is a button for SISA to rerate all players. When I turned scouting on, I clicked that button and SISA had ratings for all players. Lousy ratings, not to be trusted, but there WERE ratings from SISA.

BTW, thank you so much Cubby Fan and Erich, this set is great. While I am waiting for the final release before I start my 'serious' game, there are many of us around here who do appreciate all that you are doing. Don't let the naysayers get you down. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to what you put out next.

Oh, and Aardsma (and a few others) on the Cubs might be a tick better than a 20 on potential, but great set!

I simmed up until a GM position opened up. One opened up May 6th and i checked out the stats then.

If it helps I can give more stats or whatever. With the small sample that I've seen it seems we have the opposite effect of the imported rosters which had dominant pitching.
Thanks for the heads up -- I will check out the stats after I finish AAA but they were looking pretty fine for me when we were testing, not sure what the issue would be. Something might have gotten knocked off though, so I'll check it out.

My bad. I was dead last; I was looking at NL rankings so 16th was actually dead last. Good news for you, bad news for my Nationals and me!

I know this has been covered in the other thread but I could not find it.

1) How do I edit the draft order?

2) What would be the correct draft order?

3) Do some teams have more than 1 pick in each round (compensation from real life?)? How would I go about changing this? Is this something I should just forget about?

Thanks.

That's a pretty harsh assessment for a team that has an even run differential on the year.

A couple of mid-level prospects who should be added to the Red Sox farm system as you complete the lower minors: Mike Rozier and Jon Egan. Both players get an overall rating of roughly 50 on the 20-80 scouting scale.

Cubby V5.0 roster pack

After downloading cubbys V5.0 roster pack and installing it and setting up my team before the season starts. I'm not able to import players from other leagues across the world. Why is it that I can't get players from Cuba, Japan etc. before the season starts?.

regards

This is a game issue not a roster maker issue, the game only recognizes on city/state combination so when you put in Peoria it picks AZ not IL

Yes, the same thing happened with Rich Aurilia. The game recognizes Brooklyn, OH rather than Brooklyn, NY. Hmm...a small suburb of Cleveland vs. one of the most famous towns/neighborhoods in the world. Wow.

Rosters

I was wondering how to pull out the MLB rosters, so that I can sim with just these rosters that are finished. Until the guys complete the minors? Is there any way to do this easily, for a non techno-file. Thanks

I think in theory you could go into league set up and restructure the minors by deleting all the teams, then go and delete all free agents ( i think that the players auto free agent when the teams are erased).

Not sure if this matters much, but Placido Polanco's weight is listed as 1195 lbs.

Lol I have been a few of those home plate collisions myself and the skinnier ones sometimes hurt more(bony b******s). However yes, I would imagine that 1195 could probably kill someone. I know of no one that weighs that much...especially someone that plays baseball. I mean...has anyone ever seen Jabba The Hut out there running the bases? he would slaughter anyone even 10 feet from the base path, drag the bases with him, and probably tear up the infield. Let alone he would die from even walking that much lol.

Anyone have any idea how many big macs I would have to eat in order to get to 1195 in a year? I think I am going to try to be the first 1000 pound baseball player, heck I could just stand at homeplate and it would be very darn hard to miss hitting me with a pitch! lol.

Oh by the way, I weigh only 195 myself right now :-P.

This is because this roster set is a saved game and not a template or seperate roster folder like in the past

Cubby/Rolen..or whoever is qualified to answer.

First off THANK YOU for your hard work!

Now, would I be right to assume that these rosters out now are beta version and that there ARE problems that will be fixed. I.E. the rating system right now seems off unless im just used to the 1-10 ratings, and I can't seem to see anyone on my roster...

Thanks
