You Yanks squawk about how America is the fount of democracy, and go on and on about "Freedom of Speech", but let one voice speak out against the party line of a select few on this forum, and here come the stormtroopers. Sic Semper Tyrannus!

I don't know about anyone else here, but I have thousands of fighters already. More than I can ever possibly keep track of. Anyone can add as many more as they want already. So, it would make more sense to concentrate the design team's efforts on some of the things that many here have been suggesting for several months now.

If it were up to some on this forum, we'd still be playing the board game by kerosene lamps.

Vive les Canadiens!

I might not put it in quite the same words as my fellow Canuck, but I have, on occasion, imagined I heard the distant tread of jack-boots in this forum. Remember what the immortal philosopher Norm "Jiggers" MacDonald said, "Everyone has a right to their opinion, even if it's wrong."

Now, as to the point in question, I have made it clear more than once that I think the static graphics need work. Like some, I'd like more sound. As it is, I have fights where I hear two or three punches land in a round. There are ways to enhance the prize ring experience, and most have already been suggested. I'm not a stat-hound. I don't do a lot of post-fight analysis and drool over numbers. The actual battle in the ring is prize-fighting. You've got to make that more interesting if you really intend to attract more customers and not just humour the in-patients.

Ok. You can go back to breaking the furniture.

It was good to hear from Jim about the possible new additions to the game. When TB-III is issued I will purchase it and update all of my creations again The reason I have the game is to run my little all-time tounys and to rate fighters, something I find very enjoyable.

If Jim issued ratings updates every six months I would purchase it.

This place is as dead as the game. Haven't heard a peep out of anyone from the production team in months. Have they abandoned ship? Never hear from a lot of the old regulars any more either. Bad PR for a game company. Guess sales weren't what they hoped they'd be. Too much competition from all the graphics-heavy game producers. Kids have no imagination at all and guys my age have very little left. Blame TV for that. Who needs to think anymore?

Sayonara, you all!

A little blast from the past from dear old Buddy. Expressing opinions is just great and I am glad for all the criticism that has helped this game advance. However, You Buddy are just a tired, shrill old saw and I have had quite enough of you.

And then there was this little gem Buddy posted on one of the main forums a few months after the last in a long string of updates for TBCG2 had been released by Andreas:

Your raggedy neighbours in the TBCB forum would greatly appreciate any possible support you may be able to muster to help shore up the crumbling structure that Title Bout now appears to be. Drop in our humble wee forum and pretend to be interested just a bit. Contact the designers and offer your sage advice that they continue to work on the game, even if only in their spare time; an hour here, fifteen minutes there.

You OOTP owners are the last best hope for your poor beleaguered neighbours in TBCB. The huns are at the door and our radio transmitters are failing. We're down to the last of our meagre rations and little ammunition. Yet we continue to fight on, clinging to a fading dream....

I agree with you Cap. I think the hardcore group has 'most' of what we want. The key now is marketability so this thing can stay viable.

yeah the sound is very important, maybe it can have more realism

Also i like to see that now we are going to be able to create random fighters

another thing, will the titles have some attribute? or something like Regional, World, Continental?

All Buddy posts is complaints and rips about the game. Nothing positive at all. He calls everyone here kids but he is the one with the immature attitude. He reminds me of a spoiled kid who cries and whines when he don't get the toy he wants for Christmas.

I have to second this. I'd like less to read and especially when fairly often the commentary doesn't really fit with what's going on in the ring or the styles of the fighters in the ring.

Greetings. I'm certain to pick this up whenever it's released. Era disks would be great as well. The more fighters we have, the happier I am, even if I can't keep track of them all.

I love the game as is,but the new improvements that you have suggested sound great to this gamer. Glad to hear you are feeling well and that there will be a "next" version of our beloved game. All of the things that you have mentioned are great ideas. The one suggestion that I have is to include more frequent updates to the database. I would love to see more of the young prospects such as Duddy,Litzau,Miranda,Chambers,BJ Flores, etc. I understand that you must let the prospect fight a certain level of competition before you can have an accurate rating..but would love to see maybe an update every 6 months(as Ice suggested above). I would gladly pay for the update as well. I understand how time consuming and tedious those updates would be..which is exactly why I would not mind paying for them.

[QUOTE=mh2365]Well you guys did say another game was never gonna happen but of course you're conveniently forgetting that now of course. Nobody is going to get on people for making suggestions to make the game better but people who go around saying this game will never happen by the way try this other game ... they can go away for all I care.

Okay so no documentation but I know I personally spent about 3 days helping to explain the auto aging and I know Andreas completely explained the db.ini file as well as others did too. You must of been off playing WCBM then.

Funny I singled out know one, so you guys sold yourselves out, good luck with that.

And there was me thinking we were ok with this now. Perhaps it ws because Andreas said he was OK with it. Perhaps because you said this "Really all is cool now ... I was the only one really to take exception to it and I am probably the biggest fan boy on here." Or perhaps because you actually PM'd me and apologised for over reacting.

I never, ever said this game will not work try this. The ONLY reason I mentioned another game is because I personally will try every boxing game that is going and I know there are others on this board who are the same. Other games had been mentioned before (Heavyweight Thunder for one) and no one seemed to take offence.

Will there be an online component? I'm looking at making a boxing universe for my online sports world...and if there is this capability, consider me a buyer immediately.

I think one of the polls refers to this. Strange to see the Leader of the Five Star World in this neck of the woods. If you ever run a universe, be sure to post about it in Inside the Ropes.

That's what bothers me .... there was absolutely no need to take the shot at TBCB ... even though it happened on another board ... there was still no need for it. Talk about the other game but when you try to build the other game up by ripping this one and then come on here and act like I called you a hater because you wanted different colored boxers is a joke. Besides I never singled you out, you did that.

I did apologize only because you touting another game on this board was okay by the programmer ... but for you to get all righteous about something I said when I'm completely right bugs the crap out of me.

There was absolutely no need to take a shot at TBCB while you tried to build up the other boxing game you are beta testing (huge conflict of interest by the way) it makes you look cheap and petty. That's all I've got to say on this.
