What happened to my roster???
I'm writing the Midwest Dreams dynasty in the other forum, and I'm coming across a really annoying problem. I hope it's something that can be fixed in the current software through some options, and doesn't require another fix. Here's what's happening:
I'm using the latest CubbyFan rosters, I'm managing the A-level Clinton Lumber Kings. When I signed up with the team in January, I had a normal A roster. Mostly prospects, with a few journeymen. Then, my roster disappeared. By that I mean, when I advanced a week, I found no one was on my active roster. I went to the Major League team (Texas) and clicked on all members of the organization, and found that all of my players had been moved off of my team. I waited until my season started, to see if I would get any players assigned to my team. Well, the players that got on my team were major league veterans who were signed to minor league contracts. How they ended up on an A-level team baffles me. But I said to myself, "OK, this must be a quirk with the GM," and I let it go. But after the first game, my roster was empty again. I simmed to the next day, and was told that I had zero players on my roster. I go to my roster, and find it fully stocked - with different players - but my depth charts, lineups and rotation are blank. So, I restock lineups, etc. and play another game. The same thing happens. This continues for the first four games of the season. When I go to play game #5 (I'm simming one day at a time), I find that there are REALLY no players on this team. So I fill the team with fictional players. Oddly, this gives me 21 pitchers. I sim the game anyway, and I get a normal roster, filled with pitchers and position players, but I get shut out in the game. After game #5, my roster is blank once again. I go to what I think is the last hope. I ask the AI to set up the complete organization, from the transactions screen. Lo and behold, I get a roster, with some of the players from game #4! I think, "that's odd". I play game #6, and what happens? Blank roster!!! I go back to the Texas ML team, and look at the players from the complete organization, and the funny thing is, players who were on my A-roster (Bret Boone, for instance...yes, very odd), are still being shown as playing for Clinton. But when I go to Clinton's roster, I find no one. But if I ask the AI to set up the complete organization, I get the right players back. This is a really, really big problem as far as playing as a minor league manager. I had to turn the commissioner mode on in order to keep refilling my roster, but I do have the switch set to Prevent any AI roster changes. Is there anything that I can do to fix this problem myself, or is this a true bug?

This is a bug. Can you zip your saved game's ".dat" files and send them to markus.heinsohn@sigames.com with the subject TT#2426
