To a certain extent I think it would be great if Cubby was serious and nothing more was released. While I'd be disappointed at not getting a complete all minors set, it would be an appropriate response to the constant whiners.

Waninski, you are simply ridiculous. Go away. No one cares what you think. Your ignorant about the way things work. Have you ever been criticized for giving to charity. Or helping other people. [Well maybe you've never done either] Maybe they'd say, "sure you helped, but you should have helped more" All the while the person telling you that you didnt do enough, hasnt done any fricking thing at all to help. That's the situation. Your the one who hasn't done anything. In other words, a hypocrite and someone that is ungrateful for the charity (the rosters) that has already been given to you.

Thanks for the work you have done Cubby, wish you would reconsider and complete this project as I know you have put a great effort into them, but nontheless thanks you have done a great job.

I think this roster has been "done" for a while now. Can't wait for 2007!

Oh, and can't the people who like to bash the complainers come up with another comeback other than "do it yourself!" Isn't that a bit played out? At least the complaints tend to be a BIT different each time. Pass the popcorn please.

Alright Waninski, you make us a roster set and let's see if you can do a better job. If you can't then you have no right to complain.

I think my perception is piercing the BS pretty well. I can't stand lies and false hopes, and that's exactly what Cubby fed us.

And what exactly does that last sentence mean? Liberal refund policy? I thought these rosters were free (and therefore free from criticism...because after all, a free product gives Cubby the freedom to release his product whenever he pleases, regardless of what kind of release date he alludes to).

EDIT: I want you people to understand that the lack of a complete roster set isn't fueling my frustration right now. It's all of you people who think these creators are some sort of godlike figures who are above any ribbing. If they screw up, they deserve to hear about it. And who better to voice discontent than the users of their products?
Smartest thing I've read today!

Man, this guy Waninski sure is self-righteous, judgemental and unappreciative. If he has any friends at all they're probably just like him 'cause no one else would be able to put up with such a pompous ass.

As for the above statement, hell yes Cubby/Rolen are godlike figures. If someone screws up, do they deserve to hear about it? Sometimes. But what defines screwing up? Certainly not someone who devotes their free time to make a video game more enjoyable for the community. Cubby, your a god whether you finish these rosters or not and I thank you for making them. Here's to you buddy.

I would make an attempt to complete it if in fact Cubby is done. Cubby, PM me if you in fact are done or if you need or want help.

I've been putting in 3-4 hours a night for the last two weeks on them, including 5 today. Before that, it was 6-7 hours a day when we were crunching to release for the release date. I am not stretching the truth here, this is literal time spent on them. I don't know if that's what you're implying, but if it is, I would suggest you take a look at the monumental amount of work placed into them.

For some reason you still haven't responded to my offer. We botched one release date and I have said for the last two to three weeks that there would be a MLB release by July 4 (which we released July 6) and then varying levels of minors after that.

Unless you are a complete idiot, it is not hard to comprehend.

However, obviously you are.

Give me your AIM and I will send you what I have done, and then it'll be on you to complete them. I am completely and 100 percent serious about this. But I'm sure you won't take me up on it, because you are too much of a complainer and not a do'er to do anything yourself, God forbid.

I'm sick and tired and done with types like you. I'm done.
Why do you care so much about one random loser? He's clearly just trying to get under your skin and ruin the project for everyone because he can't gain real control in his own life.

Do the work at your own leisure and just ignore the complaints which aren't constructive. What do you gain by debating someone who can't be persuaded to the contrary? He isn't looking for an intelligent discussion about the roster project, he just wants to antagonize and irritate people.

I think I speak for the vast majority of posters here when I thank you for your time and effort but really wish you'd stop feeding the trolls. It serves no purpose other than to clutter the thread (with political talk?) and aggravate those who just want to talk some baseball and OOTP.

Also, if you need any help fine-tuning MLB, AAA, and AA ratings/information, I'd volunteer to help, too. Thanks again.

I know, I've tried to a majority of the time, but it's just kind of a straw breaking the camel's back, it's hard to ignore personal insults for me at least. Obviously I'm not going to let one idiot ruin the rosters for you guys, I'll be okay. I'm going to take your advice, and I won't be commenting on anything not actual roster set related, and would suggest you guys stop "feeding the trolls" as well.

I think for future versions, who ever is doing roster stuff, should just not even tell anyone their doing it. And just release it when it's all finished. So you don't have anyone bugging you, and it can just be a nice big surprise!
