Roster Rules - moving players during playoffs

I was using a Japan League quickstart and was in the playoffs and the game allowed me to demote a player to AAA and add a player from my DL to the active roster in the middle of the championship series. I'd guess the game isn't supposed to allow this.

I've also had players sign to major league contracts in this league and I was able to demote them to AAA without adding them to the 40-man roster.

I don't think, as we finally decided in another thread, that the moving the guy to the minors without being on the 40-man is a problem.

Changing of the 25-man roster during a championship series shouldn't be allowed though. You can add them before (which is another reason you should be able to bring a player off the DL even if he is injured as long as he's served his 15 or 60 days) or after but not during. You can change between series, I believe. As in change the roster afterthe divisional and the league champion, or the league champion and world series, but not actually during those series.

And I've seen it done, and have done it, as well in the game.

yes, the other issue was well hashed out elsewhere. The player movement during the playoffs has to be adjusted though as you shouldn't be able to make moves during a playoff series, only before a series starts.

(I usually look oldest to newest in Tech Support.)

What kind of league is this? Historical? Fictional?

I'm trying to replicate this issue right now. Can you replicate this? If so, can you get me a copy of your league files?

Never mind, I replicated it. I've logged this as TT # 2339. Specifically, the roster moves during the playoffs issue. The other one, I believe has already been resolved separately.
