What stadium pics are people using? Is there a set out that has the coordinates right and everything? Thanks.

Sorry about that guys, I've been caught up playing NCAA (great game btw) and haven't got much done. However, I need to save my work, so I'll go ahead and upload a zip while I'm at it. Will be up in a few, only have about 6 or 7 AAA teams done though I believe.

Is it possible to "farm out" some of the work, CubbyFan? Do you use a formula for re-rating the minor league players? I'd be glad to help if it's a straightforward process.

I wish I could, the problem is that it's not very straight-forward and if I have one person working on it, I can't work on it myself. I might get to that point eventually, if I do I will be bothering you, so consider yourself enlisted.

Cubby, any way of getting a version with just MLB-AAA-and AA?
It doesn't have to be perfect right now, just your current beta, sliced in half

I honestly can't think of anyway to do it on my end.
HOWEVER -- I know that now you can delete teams and divisions from the leagues (didn't know this before) in edit league structure. So you could probably just take out all of the clubs. However, I don't know how that would effect the game with no teams in leagues (ie. crashing) but it's something you might play around with and see if you can fix. |

Mr. Cubby...
I am trying to track you down with a quick question. Is there any way to use your new roster set on 6.51a? I am trying to get it to work but can't seem to get it right. Every time I try to open the new league OOTP can't load it and then shuts down. Any ideas? thanks, Brian

+1 handicap, this is for OOTP 2006, they will NOT work with OOTP 6.51a, no matter what basically.
And for Cubby, it seems that when the time comes, each team signs 25 minor league FA's to fill their squad, so even though the teams don't exist in the game, they still do...it sounds complicated, but if you ever give it a try, you'll see what I mean.

I know this has been a long process for you guys, having to wait around this long. However, the good news is that with the game most likely not radically changing in '07, I've figured out ways to simply move the game ahead for next year's version when I get this all done, and simply have to re-rate guys for a release, and not do the huge amounts of work that has gone into this (including re-rating scrubby players).
Hopefully the finished produce will be worth it for you guys. The timetable I'm trying to look at is: AAA finished in a week AA finished in two weeks Complete set in 3-4 weeks This could speed up or slow down depending on what I run into, but I'm thinking at the lower levels, ratings will go MUCH quicker as they will not be as detailed (I wish they could be, but just not as much info on Low A scrubs as AAA scrubs). |

Any chance you could rate correctly the top 40-50 prospects for each organization, and just randomize the scrubbs with crappy ratings ? They aren't making the majors anyway, so why bother ? At least to make the first complete release be faster, so that then, if you want, you can complete the set more or less at your leisure.

That's partially what I'm planning on doing at the lower levels -- at the most just rating them depending on what I glance at their career minor league stats and '06 minor league stats (not using PECOTA's, etc. on any of those guys).
The main things I'm aiming at for the lower level scrubs are defensive positions and speed ratings, as these seem to be the most off. I don't think a guy is going to be much of a difference whether he's a 10-15-20 (out of 100) or a 15-20-10... However, I do want to get AAA and AA right as, even if they're scrubs, those scrubs could hit the bigs in emergency situations. But you're right, at the Single A, and especially SS and R levels, it's not neccisary to delve really deep into guys who are 24 and have no shot at a MLB roster right away. |

Would the set be playable when you're finished with AAA and AA? Considering the draft picks would fill in in the low minors the first couple of years?

Is it possible to save this set as a template and release that version?
