Overflow in Rookie Leagues

Not sure if its a bug or lack of feature, but it seems that the AI never cleans out my Rookie leagues. When I choose to have the AI organize my minor league, all the reject players are thrown into A ball. They never release any scrubs. There is an option in the managers menu to handle releases, but I do not want the AI to touch the major league roster. Is there anyway the AI will release minor leaguers off my team.

I have been going in and manually deleting players that have been there for more then a season, but the memory leaks are so severe that I can only do a dozen or two before I have to reload the game.

Check you transaction log. Are there moves being made? Usually, the computer AI, when managing your minors, tends to keep a balance. Player goes out... another comes in.

the AI will promote/demote, but never release -- as a result, after 3 seasons, my rookie ball team had 150 players in it!

I am sure I've logged this before, but I can't find it, so I've logged it again as TT #2290.

Thanks!

Afail,

The AI will not release players unless you give them full permission to do so. So, I believe in this case, since you're the "big boss," you'll need to do the releasing, or let them do it all. They're just trying to handle the players you've given them.

I think that's about how it's going to work...
