Has the patch been updated since release?
Trying to read the posts and i get the impression that the patch has been updated since 1.02, is that right?

That's right. Marc posts a list with updates every now and then. Here's the latest: http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=126969

I'm not sure if wilkiburger is asking if the 1.02 patch available for download now is different than the one that was released last week. It's the same file. The updates being worked on now will be available as 1.02 with the new fixes that you will have to download again.

The available patch 1.0.2 up on the forums right now is the same as what you have already downloaded.
There will be an announcement when the next release is. |

What does the build number mean then?

While the version released to the public is officially termed 1.0.2 to the folks internal to SI its known by a build number (I think the official version is 12252). It helps the test team and version control people, as while patch 1.0.2 was being worked on there were many builds. So the beta team might have found an issue in 12251 that was corrected before 12252 was officially released to the public. The build number is SI's internal build/version control number, the version number is the public version control number. Unless you are a beta tester/SI employee the build number means nothing too you. Hope this helps |
