Draft: trading down?

I was setting up a trade where I unloaded a veteran to get time for a prospect. It was a deadline trade, so they told me right away whether they'd accept. I put in my lowest picks, and their highest picks, and before I even add the player they'll accept. We're talking 35th-40th rounders for 1-5 rounders.

I love to exploit the AI as much as anyone, but play a little harder to get than that!

We haven't been able to replicate this issue. Is there a specific scenario you are able to create that we could imitate to see this behavior?
