MLB ratings are done.
Salaries are done.
Stadiums are done.
Coaches are almost complete.

All that's left to do is handle the minor league ratings (I'm not re-doing them all for the first release, don't panic) so that none of the guys in the minors are overrated with the new rating scale we're using.

In other good news, I might have found a way to quickly and easily import players to international leagues or a smaller U.S. league (MLB through AA).

France was robbed.

Well, actually, Erich did say.

Wow that was long winded to say that something will be released this weekend hopefully today but no later than Sunday, come Hell or High water.

I am not complaining, just clarifying. I'm fine with the release date being pushed back a bit. I fully understand it, and have no problem with it.

As long as they keep us in the loop on what is done and what's not, I'm a happy camper.

thanks for the update cubby. Hopefully your right Ozzie in saying that sunday isn't over yet and we have something by then. It'd be great!

As for France, why would Zidane head but the dude??? lol I think that would hurt him more than anything, headbutting someone hurts like hell, let alone the chest.

Cubby... how will we be able to import players easier? and I'd also like to know if your roster set is only going to include the U.S. and not Japan/Cuba/etc.?

I can't believe he did that either. For a guy who's retiring after the World Cup and France's best player, to take himself out close to the the end of a tie game in the finals. Go figure. The Italian player must have said something about his Mama.

Bonehead

What a moron. For a veteran to do that just shoes how selfish and self immersed he is. His team needs him for 10 more minutes and he goes out w/ a head-butt. Dumbest sports move ever?
Other nominees for dumbest move ever:

1. Chris Weber calling timeout w/ none left in NCAA Championship game.

2. Legendary Fred Merkle "Bonehead" play.
3. Maybe one of those Phil Mickelson shot selections late in a grand slam event (i need a little help w/ the details).
4. Chuck Knoblauch arguing with the umpire as winning run scored in '98 ALCS.
5. John McNamara not replacing Bill Buckner in '86 WS.
6. Leon Lett celebrating a touchdown before he's in the end zone and getting the ball knocked out of his hands.
7. Grady Little leaving Pedro Martinez in after he had clearly lost it in game 7 of ALCS in 2003.

In honor of Zidane, I'm going to add the French Baseball Federation to my universe as soon as this roster set comes out. Maybe, in my world, Philippe Lecourieux will become good enough to play against John Rocker and the Long Island Ducks.

In soccer, you are not allowed to use your hands.

you guys should stick to baseball

France was not robbed, they never should have scored a goal!! The French player took a dive in the 7th minute and France was erroneously awarded a penalty kick. Go figure, the French have always been known for going down easy. They only were able to penetrate Italy's defense briefly, and even then Buffon who is one of the top goalkeepers in all the world was spectacular on Zidane's header. Zidane, who plays for Juventus during regular season play, has always been a dirty player. This is NOT the first time he has lost control of his emotions in a match. So, I think the better team came out on top.....Italy....Champs for another 4 years!!!

We will stick to baseball

And lucky for you, cause if we ever got into Soccer we would kick some serious ass. But the fastest, strongest athletes are all playing football, basketball, and baseball. We don't even care about Soccer and we still have one of the top 10 teams in the world.

Cheers to your Italian team.

Be careful when you tell someone to stick to baseball. Zidane has played for Real Madrid since 2001.
