Prior hurt again LOL

I love how hendry still planned on getting anything out of Prior or wood this year with their histories....
Now the day after Wood's season is over, Prior goes back to the DL. and to top it all off, Wade Miller is getting lit up in low A. The cubs should fire Hendry and Baker, not just Baker

Yeah! He should outright release both Kerry Wood and Mark Prior!

Guess I'm not quite sure what's funny about the guy being hurt, but oh well.

Didn't you know? If he's from a team you don't like, it's ok that he's hurt.

Hey, the man's a saint, lay off.

Really, I don't think LOL means quite what it used to mean (if anything).

of course it's not funny with Prior's injury...

but there are truly only 2 certainties in baseball...that both Prior and Wood will not even come close to completing even half a season.

its karma cuz prior should be a yankee. he was originally drafted by them but didn't sign. we always make them pay, unless we trade them away. then they become stars.

And I'm not sure why anyone's really excited about a team of players they don't even know winning a world cup title, but I guess it must have something to do with being a sports fan . . .

Seriously, as a cynical Cubs fan myself I find another Prior DL trip funny. Not hilarious, mind you, and I feel no joy about Mark Prior's pain, but there is something cosmically funny about everything falling apart for a team.

Tejada would look really good in a Cubs uni right about now.

That's almost like reminding a Cub fan that the Reds (supposedly) offerered Adam Dunn straight up for Rich Hill last year, and Jim Hendry turned him down. Rich Hill.

FWIW, I was behind the Tejada deal even before the season started. But who wouldn't say that at this point . . .
