I cannot understand how someone in their right mind complains about a free roster set made by volunteers. Get real people. I too cannot wait for this set to be released but completely understand the wait.

keep up the good work guys

Ok look I generally don't post things on here in response to people who are complaining about when it is going to be done, I don't say make it yourself, personally I don't care about the complaints. Now that being said I will always respond to people who have questions, positive or negative, to try and get them the answers they want or that I feel they deserve.

In all honesty I find the posts of do it yourself to really not add value to the conversation. I expect people to be interested in when they will have it and what is going to be in it, and that is why I shrug off most of those complaints. I do find the incessant bickering between people to make the thread longer without adding much to it.

I do appreciate the people that come to my defense and such during these threads and state those things, but it really isn't necessary. We all know that the reason I am doing this and most aren't is because I am a bigger fool than most of you out there in that I am willing to sacrifice my personal time to do it. Frankly I have had multiple people ask me why the heck I am doing it as they think I am crazy(and that isn't just my wife) for creating this file.

I will try to have more updates for people so that you know where things are with regards to the file. Part of the problem was the were multiple mistakes made by me, crashes that I had not saved before, changes in the database, you name we had it. The file was intended for a 5/31 release date and not unfortunately the anvil over my head starts to fall closer and closer.

Don't worry I am not embittered by the people on the board, I am frustrated that I have not completed the file, I don't want to put out crap so that has made it more difficult as well. For those of you who are waiting I appreciate you patience.

Erich

This has to be one of the funniest posts I have seen, at least you have a park you get seats to. I live in the Boston area, we have the highest priced tickets and you can never get them.

Granted I have been to two games in KC, Crown Club Seats both times of course, gotta love business trips, both games were a fantastic time.

Sorry to hijack

I don't want to thread hijack but I am not sure where to post this.

Does anyone have an update on the jackflash roster set? Should we go ahead and start a new thread for updates on it? I have been waiting to buy the game since this afternoon when I heard that he would be releasing them.

He has had the game almost 2 months now, 2 months longer than I have had it, so he should be done with something by now. I believe that since he has had it so much longer than I have I deserve an update on his progress.

If any of that sounds like sarcasm, it might be.

For those waiting, it looks like the importing of 6.51 leagues is much better. You could always give that a shot. I know football season is coming soon and the 2006 season is coming to an end soon so these rosters may be irrelevant to many in a few weeks.

The 2006 season is not coming to an end soon. It's only halfway done.

Has anyone tried importing a 6.5 league with the new patch? Did it improve it and the statistical output you get?

And football season can't come soon enough, stupid Pirates.

Here is the stat breakdown. You have a point. OBP is so under rated.
Pronk and Giambi walk more or almost more than the strikeout compared to the other guys.

I hate how baseball selects their all-stars. How are we so concerned about $ that we pick guys simply to sell tickets and raise television ratings instead of giving the HONOR to the players who deserve it. The All-Star game should be at the end of the season, have no bearing whatsoever on the World Series, and its players should be picked by a selection committee.

Why don't we just let the homer managers and fans pick who gets into the HOF?

I vote for Mickey Tettleton just because I liked the way he held his bat. And because he hit 3 2Bs at a game I was at once. Yep, he gets my vote. Who is Pooholes?
