Manage option system error

I can stay logged on for virtually forever if I simulate or quick play everything, but whenever I manage a game, I get a system error that ends up closing my OOTP window altogether. Its one of those errors that states WINDOWS HAS DETECTED AN ERROR/PROBLEM WITH 'OOTP 2006' AND WILL BE FORCED TO CLOSE THE WINDOW or something along those lines. This only happens in Manage mode. Any ideas or suggestions?
