Me too. Now, I am still holding out hope for the email reminder to activate a player off the DL when he is ready and set depth charts based on lineups.

Agreed. Been through a couple of 'trial' leagues now, just to get the ol' feet wet. It's a good thing my band's not gigging this upcoming weekend, because I sense some late nights this weekend getting my universe (which exists on a spreadsheet at this moment) rolling....

Thanks for the daily updates Marc.

Lots has been changed/fixed in the commentary file, and the fresh version will be included with the patch on Friday, so they've probably desticky'd the old one because it's not really needed anymore.

Let me make sure to call out something:

This means the game will now effectively have a replacement for "stars" on all screens, even if you have scouting off!

However, to make this work, you will need to delete your \data\tables folder. This means that you will lose any custom views or filters you have created.

Markus tried to do this in a way so that this wouldn't happen, but wasn't able to do so. I wanted to make sure you were aware of this. So, it makes sense to make a note of your custom views and filters before you install this patch.

It would also probably be a good idea to include this in a Read Me with the patch because not everyone who patches visits the board.

I'm a bit wary of the phrase "scouted score" in the changelist, so for my peace of mind, can you confirm: This will absolutely positively also show up with scouts turned off? I know you just said so, but please humour me.

Edit: Oh yay, I was in full-on needy mode for my 100th post...

I am looking at it as we speak with scouts and coaches turned off.

It's mighty cool.

And of course, you can take them out of your views and filters if you don't like em!

OakDr, good point, and I'll do what I can to have Marc do just that! The game doesn't die or anything if you don't do this, you just won't get the overall ratings options until you perform that step.

Do we need to delete the above mentioned folder if we're starting a new league from scratch with the new patch?

Yes, because the tables folder affects all games, not a specific game.

But this doesn't disable the custom views or filters, right?

No, no, it's just in order for the custom views and filters to be able to take advantage of the new Overall Rating and Overall Potential Rating fields, the existing views and filters need to be deleted.

In other words, if you had a custom view called Steve's View, you'd lose it, but you could recreate it immediately.

Do we delete the data\tables folder before or after patching or does it not matter?

All right, things continue to get better; I'm just holding out hope for a few more fixes & features:

1) E-mails for players coming off DL.
2) Promotion of minor league personnel allowed.
3) No more lefthanded throwers at 2B, 3B, SS.
4) Team-versus-team won-loss records report.
5) Fix for the All-Star Game scheduling problems.

Longer than 2 days for me since I drive a truck and won't be able to get online for at least another week.

Thanks again for the patch info Marc. I agree with what was asked above...

Is there some way to get a translation of the 2 lists of "TT" numbers?

I didn't see it listed in the fix list (unless it was one of the "TT" numbers, but will the Parsing Error message be fixed on the game results screen when you click on "Box Score"?

Keep up the good work.

Just to clarify, does this mean that when i scroll through a list of 100 players to #78, click on that player, then click back from the player window, the list will still be at #78?

Also, does the second part mean that when i am setting my lineups, filter to only the batters(or vice versa with pitchers), click on the player, click back from the player screen, the screen is still showing me only the batters?

If I am correct in assuming thats what both of these mean, that is definitely great work, cuz it was very frustrating to keep using those drop down menus 100 times just to set a lineup, lol. Thanks guys.
