Career HR leaders and the minor leagues

This may seem minor in the larger context, but in every test league I run the career HR leader or BA leader spends the last four or five years of his career in the minor leagues. Sorry, but this just doesn't happen.

Looking over one of their careers (this was a 75 year sim period), the career HR guy was simply dominant. Signed a monster six year contract. Averaged 40HR adn 120 RBI for three years and was then picked up on waivers by another team.

He finished his career in double A.

The AI is frightening me at this point. I don't want to sound negative, but we are essentially talking about some guy like Albert Pujos getting picked up off of waivers this offseason, playing at a high level for five more years and finishing his career with the Durham Bulls. This isn't an isolated incident either.
