All I want is a Cato data import or extract feature for MP leagues w/ prior version history. I have no interest in knowing if what's in the game is better or not. I just want a universally sourced almanac for a MP league that spans 4 versions of Markus' product.
I don't think its asking too much for a developer to alot development time to make this happen. For the record, the Lahman database is a 3rd party utility as well. |

Lahman is a 3rd party database that is updated from time to time, indicating a developer who is willing to fix problems in his product, and in addition there are several folks who have modified Lahman (not Markus) to make it more compatible with OOTP. I understand where you're coming from on this, and if Jeff Cato was still around I might be tempted to agree, but he's not and at some point you've got to cut the cord.

There have many great minds focused on OOTP utilities over the years and kudos to all, however IMHO no utility comes close to what Catobase did. It meant a greater interest in a couple of my solo leagues and therefore probably their survival. It is buggy like Ron Jeremy is endowed, but when it works it is tremendous. It is not a difficult leap to believe that the creator of this game could do the same with the in game history. It got closer with the addition of accomplishments in Patch 2 and it will happen in time.
