Buttons are not very responsive

Sometimes you have to click the button 2 or 3 times before the page loads. It's pretty annoying..

This seems to be typical of SI, I'm having the same problem with Football Manager 2006 (along with OOTP 2006).

I'm having the same problem after the patch. Didn't notice the problem in original version.

Pre-Patch there was that exact opposite problem. Some folks were complaining the delete button was over sensitive on the manager messages menu.

My mouse is not reacting properly even while not in game so I am not a good person to judge if the game is over-sensitive, under-sensitive or just right.

I apologize for the long delay in responding to this thread.

Can you please give me some more information? Which buttons, in particular, are you referring to? I know that an issue has been logged regarding a slow response to attempting to stop auto-play, but apart from that, I haven't seen slow button response.

well I really haven't played since I posted this message, but I just loaded the game up again (it took over 5 minutes to load, which I guess is another issue that should be looked at) to try and figure out what I was referring to and it's quite simple - everytime you click ANY button, there is a 1.5-2 second delay. I've been having serious CPU and RAM issues with this game so perhaps it's related, but another thing to note is that I play both Football Manager and Eastside and I notice delays with those games as well.

Could you please provide some information about your system? This is not an issue we are seeing over here, so we're interested in figuring this one out.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh copy of the game from here?

1024 MB RAM
ATI 9600XT 256 MB
160 GB SATA HD 7200 RPM

I haven't re-installed because like I said, I've noticed this in both FM and Eastside so I doubt it's related to a bad install.
